The Hearing and Speech Center offers several leasing plans for hearing aids:
Leasing programs available
36 to 60 month plans
Just like leasing a car
give back the aid at the end of the lease
Or buy it at a predetermined value
Or trade it in on a newer model, any brand
For example, a Senso Plus CIC aid
Less than $130 per month for 3 years
with full coverage
Or less than $80 per month for 5 years
with standard warranty plan
and good credit
(about $100/month very poor credit)
Senior pricing slightly less
Advantages
Low monthly payments
Keeps credit cards available for emergencies
Low up front cost
Easy to upgrade to newer technology every three years
We provide service and maintenance under our Complete Hearing Health Care Plan, just like a normal purchase
Disadvantages
Leasing with third party
No escape, all payments must be made
just like all leases
Can't get out of lease early
Extended warranty plans
Included in 3 year lease
Repair, Loss, and damage included
Optional on 4 and 5 year leases
Included on 6 year lease (DSP aids only)
Down payment
First month's lease plus security deposit
Security deposit equals one month's lease
So, down payment is two month's lease
Payable at time of order
Security deposit returned at end of lease
Not refunded if hearing aid returned at end of 30 day trial
End of lease
Can trade for new hearing aids
Roll over security deposit
New lease price based on price of new hearing aids
Can turn-in hearing aids and get security deposit back
Can buy hearing aids
Cost equals 5 monthly payments for 36 month plan
4 actually, because can apply security deposit refund
4 payments (3 actually) for 48 month plan
3 payments (2 actually) for 60 month plan
Returned aids sent back to leasing company

Patient fills out leasing form
Faxed or called into Leasing company
Leasing company replies within 2 hours
Normally in 15 minutes
